s u m of One hundred and eighty-six thousand eight hund red and sixty- five pounds being the s u m requi red to defray t h e expenses of t h e various Depa r tmen t s a n d Services of t he Colony from the first to t h e thirty-first J u l y one thousand e ight hundred and seventy-six A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t h e Consolidated Revenue E u n d of N e w South Wales t he sum so granted to H e r Majesty Be i t therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Most Excel len t Majesty by and wi th the advice a n d consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by t h e au thor i ty of t he same as follows :—

1. Ou t of the Consolidated R e v e n u e E u n d of N e w South W a l e s

sanct ioned for t h e year one thousand e ight hund red and seventy-five subject to t he ra te of any reduct ion t ha t m a y hereafter be made in tin; expendi ture of t he year one thousand e ight hund red and seventy-six.

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said s u m for t he services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t h e Governor by "Warrants or Orders in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to the said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the paymen t s so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue E u n d of the Colony.

3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h im in pur suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of the respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be there in ment ioned and he shall receive credi t for t he same accordingly.
