An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the year 1884. [22nd May, 1881.]
WH E R E A S we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales i n Parliament assembled have resolved t o grant to your Majesty the sum of Fivc hundred and ninety-five thousand pounds that is t o say—
The sum of Four hundred and thirty thousand pounds being
the sum required t o defray the expenses of the various Depart
ments and Services of the Colony for the month of May or
following month of the year one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-four And The sum of One hundred and sixfy-five thousand pounds for the
Services set forth i n the Schedule hereto annexed.
And w h e r e a s we desire t o make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted t o Her Majesty Be therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—
1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales
there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply so resolved t o be granted t o Her Majesty for the said several Services the sum of Five hundred and ninety-five thousand pounds of which the sum of Four hundred and thirty thousand pounds is t o be expended a t the rates which have been sanctioned for the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three subject t o the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four and One hundred and sixty-five thousand pounds for the Services specified i n the Schedule hereto annexed.
3. The Treasurer shall i n his accounts from time t o time be allowed credit for a l l sums of money paid by him i n pursuance of such Warrants o r Orders And the receipts of the respective persons t o whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges t o the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums a s shall be therein mentioned and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. S C H E D U L E . 2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for the Services aforesaid i n such manner and i n such proportions a s the Governor by "Warrants o r Orders i n writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer shall from time to time order and direct And the payments so t o be made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Colony.
