An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Con solidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1880. [28th May, 1880.]
WnEREAS wc Y o u r Majes ty ' s most dut i fu l and loyal subjects the Member s of t h e Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in Pa r l i amen t assembled have resolved to g r a n t to Y o u r Majesty t he s u m of Three hundred and eighty-five thousand three hundred and seventy- n ine pounds t ha t is to say—
The s u m of Three hundred and e ight thousand throe hund red a n d seventy-nine pounds be ing the s u m required to defray t h e expenses of t he var ious D e p a r t m e n t s and services of t he Colony from the first to t he thir ty-first of M a y one thousand
eight h u n d r e d and e ighty A n d The sum of seventy-seven thousand pounds for t he services set
forth in t he Schedule here to annexed
A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e E u n d of N e w South Wales the sum so gran ted to H e r Majes ty Be i t therefore enacted by t h e Queen 's Most Exce l len t Majesty b y a n d wi th t h e advice and consent of t h e Legis la t ive Council and Legis la t ive

au tho r i t y of t h e same as fo l lows:— 1. Ou t of t he Consolidated Revenue E u n d of N e w South W a l e s
the re shal l and m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be gran ted to H e r Majesty for t he said several services t h e s u m of Three hund red and eighty-five thousand th ree h u n d r e d and seventy-nine pounds of which the s u m of Three hund red and e ight thousand th ree hundred and seventy-nine pounds is to be expended a t t h e rates which have been sanct ioned for t he year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and seventy-nine subject to t h e r a t e of any reduc t ion t h a t may hereafter be m a d e in t he expendi tu re of t h e year one thousand e ight hund red and e ighty and Seventy-seven thousand pounds for the services specified in t h e Schedule here to annexed .
3 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be al lowed credi t for all sums of money paid by h i m in pursuance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t he respect ive persons to w h o m t h e same shal l be so paid shal l be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall lie there in ment ioned and h e shal l receive credit for t he same accordingly. The Treasurer shall issue and pay t h e said sum for the services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as the Governor by "Warrants or Orders in wr i t i ng unde r his h a n d and directed to t he said Treasurer shall f rom t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the paymen t s so to be made shal l be charged upon and payable out of t h e Consoli
