WH E R E A S we Your Majes ty ' s mos t dutiful and loyal subjects t h e Member s of t h e Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s
in Pa r l i amen t assembled have resolved to g ran t to Your Majes ty t he s u m of P o u r hundred and twenty-s ix thousand pounds t h a t is to say— The s u m of Three hundred and five thousand pounds being the sum requi red to defray t h e expenses of t he various Depar t men t s and Services of t he Colony from t h e first to t he thir ty-f irs t M a y one thousand e ight hundred and seventy-
n ine A n d The sum of One h u n d r e d and twenty-one thousand pounds for the
services set forth in the Schedule hereto annexed
A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w South Wales t h e s u m so g ran ted to H e r Majesty Be i t therefore enacted by the Queen 's Mos t Exce l l en t Majesty by and wi th t h e advice and consent of t h e Legis la t ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and by t h e au thor i ty of t he same as follows :—
1. O u t of t h e Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South W a l e s there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be gran ted to H e r Majesty for t he said several services t h e sum of Four h u n d r e d and twenty-s ix thousand pounds of which t h e sum of Three hundred and five thousand pounds is to be expended a t t he rates which have been sanctioned for t h e year one t housand eight h u n d r e d and seventy-eight subject to t h e r a t e of any reduct ion t h a t m a y hereafter be made in the expendi tu re of the year one thousand e ight hundred and seventy-nine and One hund red and twenty-one thousand pounds for t h e services specified in t he Schedule
3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h im in pursuance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d t h e receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t he said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be there in ment ioned and he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly. 2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay t h e said s u m for t he services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as the Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing u n d e r his hand and directed to t he said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the paymen t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon and payable out of t he Consolidated Revenue F u n d of t h e Colony.
