s u m of P o u r hundred and twenty- two thousand pounds t h a t is to
say—

The sum of Three hund red and live thousand pounds being the s u m required to defray t h e expenses of the various Depar t ­ men t s and Services of t he Colony from the first to t h e th i r t i e th Apr i l one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and seventy-

The s u m of One h u n d r e d and seventeen thousand pounds for t he

services set forth in t he Schedule here to annexed

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t h e Consolidated Revenue F u n d of N e w South W a l e s t he sum so gran ted to H e r Majesty Be it therefore enacted by the Queen 's Mos t Exce l len t Majesty by and wi th t h e advice and consent of t he Legis la t ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w Sou th Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by the au tho r i t y of t he same as follows :—

1. Ou t of t he Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South Wales there shall and m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H e r Majesty for t he said several services t he sum of Four h u n d r e d and twenty- two thousand pounds of which t h e s u m of Three h u n d r e d and five thousand pounds is to be expended a t t he ra tes which have been sanct ioned for t h e year one thousand e ight hundred and seventy-e ight subject to t he ra te of a n y reduct ion t h a t m a y hereafter be m a d e in t h e expend i tu re of t he year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and seventy-nine and One h u n d r e d and seventeen thousand pounds for t he services specified in t h e Schedule

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for t he ser­

The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pur suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m the same shal l be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be there in ment ioned and he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly. To meet Wages to become duo to Railway Employes during the month of May 1879 and to cover the expenditure in April in excess of the monthly allowance at the rate of last year's appro­ priation and for Railway Services generally
