An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Con­ solidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1876. [27th May, 1876.]

WH E R E A S we Y o u r Majesty 's most dutiful and loyal subjects t h e M e m b e r s of t h e Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales

whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e

F u n d of N e w South W a l e s t he sum so granted to H e r Majesty Be i t therefore enacted by the Queen 's Most Exce l l en t Majesty by and wi th t h e advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and by the au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—•

1. Out of t he Consolidated Revenue P u n d of N e w South W a l e s there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be granted to H e r Majesty for t he service of t he m o n t h of M a y in t he year one thousand eight h u n d r e d and seventy-six t h e sum of One hund red and eighty-six thousand eight hundred and sixty-five pounds to be expended a t the rates which have been sanct ioned for t h e year one thousand eight h u n d r e d and seventy- five subject to t h e r a t e of any reduc t ion t h a t m a y hereafter be m a d e in t h e expend i tu re of t he year one thousand eight hund red and seventy-six.
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for t h e services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t he Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t i ng unde r his h a n d and directed to t h e said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d t h e paymen t s so to be made shall be charged u p o n and payable

out of t he Consolidated Revenue E u n d of t h e Colony.

3. The Treasurer shall i n his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h im in pur suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t he said Treasurer in pass ing his said accounts for such sums as shall be t he re in ment ioned a n d he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
