South Wales t h e s u m so gran ted to H e r Majesty Be it therefore enacted by the Queen 's Most Exce l len t Majesty by and wi th t h e advice and consent of t h e Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by t h e au thor i ty of t he same as follows :—

1 . O u t of t he Consolidated E c v e n u e E u n d of N e w South Wales

there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supplies so resolved to be granted to H e r Majesty for t h e Services of t he m o n t h of M a y in t he year one thousand e ight hundred and seventy-one t h e sum of One hund red and twenty-five thousand three hundred pounds to be expended a t t he rates which have been sanc­ tioned for t he year one thousand eight hund red and seventy subject to the ra te of any reduct ion t h a t may hereafter be made in the expen­

2. The Treasurer shal l issue and pay the said s u m for t h e Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t he Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders i n wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to t h e said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the paymen t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon and payable out of t he Consolidated Revenue F u n d of t he Colony.

3 . The Treasurer shall i n his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pursuance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t he said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shal l be there in ment ioned and he shall receive credit for t h e same accordingly.
