An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South Wales, towards the Services of the Year 1889, and for Services to be hereafter provided for by Loan. [2nd August, 1889.]

t he M e m b e r s of t he Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w Sou th Wales

sum of Six hund red and ninety-one thousand two hundred and t w e n t y

pounds , t h a t is to say—

The

s u m of F o u r h u n d r e d and n ine ty thousand six hund red and seventy pounds, be ing the s u m required to defray t he expenses of t he various D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of the Colony for the m o n t h of J u l y , or following m o n t h of t he year one thousand

e ight hund red and e ighty-nine . A n d
1. Out of t he Consolidated Revenue F u n d of N e w South Wales the re shall and m a y be issued and appl ied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be granted to H e r Majes ty for t h e said several Services t he s u m of Six h u n d r e d a n d n ine ty-one thousand two hundred and t w e n t y pounds , of which t h e s u m of F o u r h u n d r e d and n ine ty thousand six hund red and seventy pounds is to be expended a t t h e ra tes which have been sanct ioned for the Year one thousand e ight hundred

The s u m of Two hundred thousand five hund red and fifty pounds

for t h e Services set forth in t h e Schedule hereto annexed.

A n d whereas AVC desire to m a k e good out of the Consolidated Revenue F lu id of N e w South Wales t h e sum so gran ted to H e r Majes ty : P e it therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Most Exce l l en t Majes ty , by and with t he advice and consent of the Legis la t ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in Pa r l i amen t assembled, and by the au thor i ty of the same, as follows :—

m a y hereaf ter be m a d e in t he expendi ture of t h e year one thousand

e ight h u n d r e d and e ighty-nine , and Two hund red thousand five hund red and fifty pounds for t he Services specified in t he Schedule

here to annexed .
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said s u m for t h e

Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t he Governor , by "Warrants or Orders in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to t he said Treasurer , shal l f rom t ime to t ime order and direct . A n d the p a y m e n t s so to be made shall be cha rged upon and payable

out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of t he Colony.
3 . The Treasurer shal l in his accoun ts f rom t i m e to t ime b e

al lowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders . A n d the receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shal l be there in ment ioned , and he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
