An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South Wales towards the Services of the Year

1887.      [1st July, 1887.]

WH E R E A S t h e M e m b e r s of t h e Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s
we Y o u r Majes ty ' s most dut i fu l a n d loyal subjects
in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have resolved to g r a n t to Y o u r Majes ty t he
s u m of Five h u n d r e d and s ixty-eight t housand pounds t h a t is to say—
The s u m of Five h u n d r e d and th i r ty -e igh t thousand pounds
be ing the s u m requi red to defray t h e expenses of t h e var ious
D e p a r t m e n t s a n d Services of t he Colony for t h e m o n t h of
J u n e or following m o n t h of t he year one t housand e ight
h u n d r e d a n d e ighty-seven A n d
The s u m of Th i r ty thousand pounds for t h e Service set for th in
t h e Schedule here to a n n e x e d
A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e
F u n d of N e w South W a l e s t he s u m so g ran ted to H e r Majes ty Be i t
therefore enac ted by the Queen ' s Most Exce l l en t Majes ty by and w i t h
t h e advice and consent of t h e Legis la t ive Counci l a n d Legis la t ive
Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and b y the
au tho r i t y of t h e same as follows :—
1. O u t of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w South W a l e s

t he r e shal l and m a y be issued a n d appl ied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H e r Majes ty for t h e said several Services t h e s u m of Five h u n d r e d a n d s ix ty-e ight t housand pounds of w h i c h the s u m of Five hund red and th i r ty -e igh t thousand pounds is to be expended a t t h e rates wh ich have been sanct ioned for t he year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d a n d eighty-s ix subject to t h e r a t e of

a n y reduc t ion t h a t m a y hereaf ter be m a d e in t he expend i tu re of t h e
year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d a n d e ighty-seven and Th i r ty t housand

pounds for t h e Service specified in t h e Schedule here to annexed.

2. The Treasurer shal l issue a n d p a y t h e said s u m for t he
Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r a n d in such proport ions as t h e

Governor b y W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t i ng u n d e r his h a n d a n d

directed to t h e said Treasurer shal l f rom t i m e to t i m e order a n d direct
A n d t h e p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall bo charged u p o n a n d payab le
out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of t h e Colony.

3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime he al lowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall he so paid shall he full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing his said accounts for such sums as shal l he there in ment ioned and he shal l receive credit for t h e same accordingly.
