A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good ou t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e

F u n d of N e w South W a l e s t he s u m so g ran ted to H e r Majesty Be i t

therefore enacted b y t h e Queen ' s Mos t Exce l len t Majes ty by and w i t h

t h e advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by t h e au tho r i t y of t he same as follows :—

1. Ou t of the Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w Sou th W a l e s

t he r e shall a n d m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be g r an t ed to H e r Majesty for t h e said several Services t h e s u m of Five h u n d r e d and s ixty-eight thousand pounds of w h i c h the s u m of Rive h u n d r e d a n d th i r ty -e igh t t housand pounds is t o be expended a t t h e rates wh ich have been sanct ioned for t he year one thousand e ight hund red and eighty-six subject to t h e ra te of any reduc t ion t h a t may hereafter be m a d e in t he expend i tu re of t h e year

one thousand e ight h u n d r e d a n d eighty-seven and Th i r ty t h o u s a n d

pounds for t he Service specified in t he Schedule here to annexed .

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said s u m for t h e Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such propor t ions as t h e Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to t h e said Treasurer shall from t i m e to t i m e order and direct A n d the p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon and payable

out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of t he Colony.

3 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d t h e receipts of t he respect ive persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shal l be full and valid d ischarges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shal l be the re in men t ioned and he shall receive credi t for t h e same accordingly.
