An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Con­ solidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the services of the Year 1880. [27th February, 1880.]

in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have resolved to g r a n t to you r Majes ty t h e

sum of Three h u n d r e d and eighty-five t housand three h u n d r e d and

seventy-nine pounds t h a t is to say—

T h e sum of Three h u n d r e d and e ight thousand th ree h u n d r e d and

seventy-nine pounds being t h e sum requi red to defray t he expenses of t h e var ious D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t h e

Colony from the first to t h e t w e n t y - n i n t h of F e b r u a r y one

The s u m of Seventy-seven t housand pounds for t h e services set

forth in t h e Schedule here to annexed

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e

F u n d of N e w Sou th Wales t h e s u m so g ran ted to H e r Majes ty Be i t therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Most Exce l len t Majes ty by and wi th t h e advice and consent of t h e Legis la t ive Council and the Legis la t ive

Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled a n d b y t h e

au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—

1.    Ou t of t h e Consolidated Revenue E u n d of N e w Sou th Wales

t he r e shall and m a y be issued and appl ied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be granted to H e r Majes ty for t he said several services t h e sum of Three hundred and eighty-five thousand th ree h u n d r e d a n d seventy-nine pounds of which t h e sum of Three h u n d r e d a n d e igh t thousand three hund red and seventy-nine pounds is to be expended at t he ra tes which have been sanct ioned for t h e year one t housand eight h u n d r e d and seventy-n ine subject to t h e r a t e of a n y

reduct ion t h a t m a y hereaf ter be made in t h e expendi tu re of t h e year

one t housand e ight h u n d r e d and e ighty and Seventy-seven thousand

pounds for t he services specified in t he Schedule hereto annexed.

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay t h e said s u m for t h e

services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t h e

Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t i ng u n d e r his h a n d and

directed to t h e said Treasurer shall f rom t ime to t ime order and direct

A n d the p a y m e n t s so to be made shal l be charged u p o n and payable

out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e E u n d of t he Colony

8. The Treasure r shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be al lowed credit for all sums of money paid by h im in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d t h e receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing his said accounts for such sums as shal l be there in ment ioned and he shal l receive credi t for t h e same accordingly .
