An Act to apply a cer tain Sum out of the Con­ solidated Revenue F u n d of New South Wales towards the Service of the Year 1874. [27th February, 1874.]

1. Out of t h e Consolidated Revenue F u n d of N e w South Wales the re shall and may be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be gran ted to H e r Majesty for the Service of t he m o n t h of February in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four t h e s u m of one h u n d r e d and fifty-three thousand nine	hundred
in Pa r l i amen t assembled have resolved to gran t to Y o u r Majesty t he	WH E R E A S we Your Majesty 's most dutiful and loyal subjects	t h e Member s of the Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales

sum of One h u n d r e d and fifty-three thousand n ine hundred and th i r ty- n ine pounds being the sum required to defray t he expenses of the various Depa r tmen t s a n d Services of t h e Colony from first to the twenty-e ighth February one thousand e ight hund red and seventy-four A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated Revenue F u n d of N e w South Wales t h e sum so gran ted to Y o u r Majesty Be i t therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Most Exce l len t Majesty by and wi th t he advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by the au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—

hundred and th i r ty-n ine pounds to he expended a t t he ra tes which have been sanctioned for t h e year one thousand eight hund red and seventy- three subject to t h e ra te of any reduct ion t h a t m a y hereafter be m a d e in t he expendi ture of t he year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for t he service aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as the Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to t he said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the paymen t s so to be made shall be charged upon a n d payable out of t he Consolidated Revenue F u n d of t he Colony.

3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t i m e to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h im in pur suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d t h e receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be there in ment ioned a n d he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
