An Act to apply certain Sums out of the

Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South Wales towards the Services of the Year

1887.       [28th April, 1887.]

WH E R E A S t he M e m b e r s of t he Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales

we Y o u r Majes ty ' s most dutiful and loyal subjects

in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have resolved to g r a n t to Y o u r Majes ty t he

s u m of E i g h t h u n d r e d and n ine ty-s ix thousand four h u n d r e d and forty

pounds t h a t is to say—

The	s u m of F ive h u n d r e d a n d th i r ty -e igh t thousand pounds be ing t he sum required to defray t h e expenses of t h e various
D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t he Colony for t h e m o n t h of
Apr i l or following m o n t h of t h e year one thousand e ight
h u n d r e d and eighty-seven A n d

The sum of Three h u n d r e d and fifty-eight t housand four hund red

a n d forty pounds for t h e Services set forth in t h e Schedule

here to annexed

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e

F u n d of N e w South Wales t h e s u m so gran ted to H e r Majes ty Be i t

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay t h e said s u m for t he
Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such propor t ions as t he
Governor b y W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing u n d e r his h a n d and directed

therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Most Exce l l en t Majesty by a n d wi th t h e advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by t h e au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—

1. Ou t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w South Wales

there shall and m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be gran ted to H e r Majes ty for t h e said several Services t he sum of E i g h t hundred and ninety-s ix thousand four hund red and forty pounds of which t he sum of F i v e h u n d r e d and th i r ty -e igh t thousand pounds is to be expended a t t he ra tes which have

been sanct ioned for the year one thousand e ight hund red a n d e ighty-

six subject to t h e ra te of any reduc t ion t h a t may hereafter be made in t h e expendi tu re of t he year one thousand e ight hundred and e ighty- seven and Three h u n d r e d and fifty-eight thousand four h u n d r e d and forty pounds for t he Services specified in t he Schedule here to annexed .

And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and payable
out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Colony.

3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be

allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders And the receipts of the respective persons to
whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to

the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned and he shall receive credit for the same

accordingly.
