An Act to apply cer tain Sums out of the Con­
solidated Revenue F u n d of New South

Wales towards t he Services of the Year

1881. [25th February, 1881.]
WH E R E A S we Your Majes ty ' s most dutiful and loyal subjects t h e Member s of t h e Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w Sou th Wales
in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have resolved to g r a n t t o Y o u r Majes ty t he
s u m of P o m h u n d r e d and n ine thousand seven h u n d r e d and fifty

pounds t h a t is t o say—

The s u m of Three h u n d r e d and th i r ty - two thousand seven h u n d r e d
a n d fifty pounds be ing t h e s u m required to defray t h e
expenses of t he various D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t h e
Colony from the first to t h e twen ty -e igh th F e b r u a r y one
t h o u s a n d e ight h u n d r e d and e ighty-one A n d

The sum of Seventy-seven thousand pounds for t h e services set

forth in t h e Schedule here to annexed

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e
F u n d of N e w Sou th Wales t he s u m so g ran ted to H e r Majesty Be i t

therefore enac ted by t h e Queen ' s Mos t Exce l l en t Majes ty by a n d wi th t h e advice and consent of t h e Legislat ive Council and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in P a r l i a m e n t assembled a n d by t h e

a u t h o r i t y of t h e same as follows :—

1.    Ou t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w Sou th Wales

the re shal l and m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H e r Majes ty for t h e said several services t h e s u m of F o u r h u n d r e d and n ine thousand seven h u n d r e d and fifty pounds of wh ich t h e s u m of Three h u n d r e d a n d th i r t y - two thousand seven h u n d r e d and fifty pounds is to be expended a t t h e rates w h i c h have been sanct ioned for t h e year one thousand e igh t h u n d r e d

a n d e igh ty subject t o t h e r a t e of any reduct ion t h a t m a y hereafter

be m a d e in t h e expend i tu re of t h e year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d a n d e ighty-one and Seventy-seven thousand pounds for t he services specified in t h e Schedule here to annexed.

3 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t i m e to t i m e be allowed credit for al l sums of money paid by h i m in pur suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d t h e receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m t h e same shal l be so paid shal l be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be there in ment ioned and he shall receive credit for t h e same accordingly. S C H E D U L E .

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said s u m for t h e
services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t h e

Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d a n d

directed to t h e said Treasurer shal l from t ime to t i m e order and direct
A n d t h e p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon a n d payable
ou t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of t h e Colony.
