An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Con solidated Be venue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1880. [29 th January, 1880.]
WH E R E A S we Y o u r the Members of tbe Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s
Majesty 's mos t dut i fu l and loyal subjects
in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have resolved to g r a n t to Your Majes ty t h e
s u m of N i n e hundred and twen ty - th ree t housand one h u n d r e d a n d n ine ty-seven pounds t h a t is to say—
The s u m of Three h u n d r e d and e ight thousand th ree h u n d r e d a n d
seventy-nine pounds be ing t h e s u m required to defray t h e
expenses of t h e var ious D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t h e
Colony from t h e first to t h e thir ty-f i rs t of J a n u a r y one
t housand e ight h u n d r e d and e igh ty A n d
The s u m of Six h u n d r e d and four teen thousand e igh t h u n d r e d
a n d e ighteen pounds for t he services set for th in t h e Schedule here to annexed
A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e
F u n d of N e w South W a l e s the s u m so g ran ted to H e r Majes ty Be i t
therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Most Exce l l en t Majes ty by and w i t h t h e advice a n d consent of t he Legis la t ive Council and Legis la t ive
Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled a n d b y t h e au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—•
1. O u t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e E u n d of N e w Sou th W a l e s
the re shall and m a y be issued a n d appl ied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H e r Majesty for t h e said several services t h e s u m of N i n e h u n d r e d a n d t w e n t y - t h r e e thousand one
h u n d r e d and ninety-seven pounds of which t h e s u m of Three h u n d r e d and e igh t thousand th ree h u n d r e d and seventy-nine pounds is to be expended a t t h e ra tes which have been sanct ioned for t h e year one t housand e ight h u n d r e d and seventy-nine subject to t h e ra te of a n y
reduct ion t h a t m a y hereaf ter be made in t he expend i tu re of t he year
one thousand e ight hundred a n d e igh ty and Six h u n d r e d and four teen 3 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t i m e be al lowed credi t for all sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d t h e receipts of t he respect ive persons to w h o m t h e same shal l bo so paid shal l be full and val id discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accoun ts for such sums as shall be the re in men t ioned a n d he shal l receive credit for t h e same accordingly. 2. The Treasurer shall issue a n d pay t h e said s u m for t he
services aforesaid in such m a n n e r a n d in such propor t ions as t h e Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing u n d e r his h a n d a n d directed to t h e said Treasurer shal l from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the p a y m e n t so to be made shal l be charged u p o n and payable
