Aii Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1884. [29th September, I884J

WH E R E A S we Y o u r Majes ty ' s most dutiful the Members of the Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South Wales
and loyal subjects
in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have resolved to gran t to Your Majes ty t he

sum of E ive hund red and forty t housand pounds t ha t is to say—

The sum of Eour h u n d r e d and th i r ty thousand pounds being the
sum requi red to defray t h e expenses of t h e various Depart­

men t s and Services of t he Colony for t he m o n t h of September or following mon th of the year one thousand e ight hundred

and eighty-four And

The sum of One hundred and ten thousand pounds for the Services

set forth in the Schedule here to annexed.

And whereas Ave desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted to H e r Majesty Re it therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Mos t Exce l l en t Majesty by and wi th the advice and consent of the Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of New South Wales in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and by the

au tho r i t y of the same as follows :—

1. Ou t of the Consolidated Revenue E u n d of New South W a l e s there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be gran ted to H e r Majesty for the said several Services t he sum of Eive h u n d r e d and forty thousand pounds of which the sum of P o u r h u n d r e d and th i r ty thousand pounds is to be expended at t he rates which have been sanctioned for the year one thousand e igh t hundred and e igh ty- three subject to t he ra te of any reduct ion t h a t may hereafter be m a d e in t he expendi tu re of t he year one thousand eight h u n d r e d and eighty-four and One h u n d r e d and t e n thousand pounds for t he Services specified in t h e Schedule here to annexed.

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for t he Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ion as t he Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing u n d e r his h a n d and directed to t he said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of

t he Consolidated R e v e n u e E u n d of t he Colony.

3. The Treasurer shall in his aecounts from time to time be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders And the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall bo therein mentioned and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.

SERVICES FOE 1834.

RAILWAYS—

To meet Wages to become due to Railway Employes during the month of October 1884 and to cover the expenditure in September 1881 in excess of the monthly allowance at the rate of last year's appropriation and for Railway Services generally£ 100,000 0

To meet Wages to become due to Employes in the Department of Harbours and Rivers during the month of October 1884 and to cover the expenditure in September 18S4 in excess of the monthly allowance at the rate of last year's appropriation and
