An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year

1877. [Mil October, 1877.]

WHEREAS we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the
sum of Three hundred and thirty thousand four hundred and eighty-
seven pounds that is to say—

The sum of Two hundred and forty-two thousand four hundred and eighty-seven pounds being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the Colony from first to thirtieth September one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven and

The sum of Eighty-eight thousand pounds for services of the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven as set forth in the Schedule hereto annexed

And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue

Eund of New South Wales the sum so granted to Her Majesty Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Colony.

1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales

there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good
the supply so resolved to be granted to Her Majesty for the said several services the sum of Three hundred and thirty thousand four hundred and eighty-seven pounds of which the sum of Two hundred and forty- two thousand four hundred and eighty-seven pounds is to be expended at the rates which have been sanctioned for the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven and Eighty-eight thousand pounds for the services specified in the Schedule hereto annexed.
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for the ser­ vices aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand and directed to the

allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such

whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
