WH E R E A S we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty t he the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales
sum of Two millions four hundred and nineteen thousand five hundred
and thirty pounds, that is to say—

Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of Eight hundred and thirty-five thousand eight hundred pounds, being t h e sum required to defray the expenses of the various Depart­ ments and Services of the State during the months of October and November, or following month of the financial

year ending thirtieth day of June , one thousand nine hundred and twelve; and the sum of Nine hundred and ninety-three thousand pounds for the Services set forth in Schedule A hereto annexed ; and the sum of Four hundred and forty-one thousand four hundred and thirty pounds for the Services set forth in Schedule B hereto annexed.

Out of the Public Works Fund, the sum of One hundred and forty-nine thousand three hundred pounds for the Services set forth in Schedule C hereto annexed :

And whereas we desire to make good out of the said Funds the sum so granted to His Majesty : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1 . Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply so resolved to be granted to His Majesty, the sum of Two millions two hundred and seventy thousand two hundred and thirty pounds, of which the sum of Eight hundred and thirty- five thousand eight hundred pounds is to be expended at the rates which have been sanctioned for the financial year ended thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eleven to defray the expenses, of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months of October and November, or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of the year 1911-1912, and the sum of Nine hundred and ninety-three thousand pounds is to be expended for the Services specified in Schedule A hereto annexed, and the sum of Four hundred and forty-one thousand four hundred and thirty pounds is to be expended for the Services specified in Schedule 13 hereto annexed.

3. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sums for the Services aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor, by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand, and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and the Public Works Fund respectively.

4. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders. And the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
