An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year
1886 and for Services to be hereafter
provided for by Loan. [1st July, 1886.]
| in Parliament assembled have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the | WHEREAS we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales |
| sum of Six hundred and sixty thousand pounds that is to say— |
The sum of Five hundred and ten thousand pounds being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Depart- ments and Services of the Colony for the month of June or following month of the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six And
The sum of One hundred and fifty thousand pounds for the
Services set forth in the Schedule hereto annexed
And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue
Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted to Her Majesty Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows : —

1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales
there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good
the supply so resolved to be granted to Her Majesty for the said several Services the sum of Six hundred and sixty thousand pounds of which the sum of Five hundred and ten thousand pounds is to be expended at the rates which have been sanctioned for the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five inclusive of the annual increases on salaries for that year provided for by the " Civil Service Act of 1884" subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six and One hundred and fifty thousand pounds for the Services specified in the Schedule hereto annexed.
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for the Services aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer shall from time to time order and direct
And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and payable
out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Colony.
3. The Treasurer shall i n his accounts from t ime to t ime be
allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pursuance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t he respect ive persons to w h o m the same shall be so paid shal l be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shal l be the re in ment ioned a n d he shal l receive credit for t h e same accordingly.
