A n Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1886. [28th April, 1886.]
WH E R E A S t h e M e m b e r s of t h e Legislath~e Assembly of N e w South W a l e s
w e Y o u r Majes ty ' s most dut i ful and loyal subject
in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have resolved to g r a n t to Your Majes ty t h e
sum of E i g h t h u n d r e d and twenty-seven t h o u s a n d pounds t h a t is to say—
The s u m of Five h u n d r e d and s ixty-seven thousand pounds be ing t h e s u m requ i red to defray t he expenses of t h e var ious D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t h e Colony for t h e m o n t h of

The s u m of Two h u n d r e d and s ixty t housand pounds for t h e Services set for th in t h e Schedule here to annexed
A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good ou t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e

therefore enac ted by t h e Queen ' s Mos t Exce l l en t Majes ty by and wi th
t he advice a n d consent of t he Legis la t ive Counci l a n d Legis la t ive
Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and b y t h e au tho r i t y of t he same as follows :—
1. O u t of the Consolidated R e v e n u e Fund of N e w South W a l e s
the re shall and m a y be issued and appl ied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H e r Majes ty for t h e said several Services t he s u m of E i g h t hund red and twen ty-seven t housand
pounds of which t h e s u m of Five h u n d r e d and sixty-seven thousand pounds is to be expended a t t h e ra tes which have been sanct ioned for t he year one thousand e igh t h u n d r e d a n d eighty-five inclusive of t h e a n n u a l increases on salaries for t h a t year provided for b y t h e " Civil Service A c t of 1884" subjec t to t h e r a t e of a n y reduc t ion t h a t m a y
hereafter be m a d e in t h e expend i tu re of t h e year one thousand e ight
h u n d r e d and e ighty-s ix a n d Two h u n d r e d and sixty t housand pounds
3 . The Treasurer shal l in his accounts f rom t i m e to t i m e be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Order's A n d t h e receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shal l be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing his said "accounts for such sums as shall be the re in men t ioned and h e shall receive credi t for t h e same accordingly. 2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for t h e
Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t h eGovernor b y W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing u n d e r his h a n d a n d
directed to t h e said Treasurer shal l f rom t i m e to t i m e order a n d direct
A n d t h e p a y m e n t s so to be made shal l be charged upon and payable
