An Act to apply certain. Sums out of the Con- solidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Service of the Year

WH E R E A S we Y o u r Majesty 's most dutiful and loyal t he Member s of t he Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales

in Pa r l i amen t assembled have resolved to g ran t to Your Majesty the sum of One hund red and twenty-five thousand th ree hundred pounds being t h e sum required to defray t he expenses of t he various Depar t ­ men t s and Services of t h e Colony from first to thirty-first J a n u a r y one thousand e ight hund red and seventy-one A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South W a l e s t he sums so granted to your Majesty Be i t therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Mos t Exce l l en t Majesty by and wi th t he advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Council and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by the au thor i ty of t he same as follows :—
1. Ou t of t h e Consolidated Revenue F u n d of N e w South Wales the re shal l and m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supplies so resolved to bo granted to H e r Majesty for t h e service of t he m o n t h of J a n u a r y in t h e year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one the sum of one hundred and twenty-five thousand th ree

hundred pounds .

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay t h e said sum for t he services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as the Governor by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to t h e said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct A n d the paymen t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon and payable

out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of t he Colony.

3 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pursuance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t he said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be there in ment ioned and ho shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
