An Act to apply certain sums out of the Con­ solidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1904-1905. [28th October, 1904.]

WH E R E A S we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the

sum of One million one hundred and sixty thousand pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months of November and December or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth June, one thousand nine hundred and five. And whereas Ave desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of NEW South Wales the sum so granted to His Majesty : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of NEW South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—•

1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales

there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply so resolved to be granted to His Majesty for the said several Services, the sum of One million one hundred and sixty thousand pounds, to be expended at the rates which are shown on Estimates for the financial year ending thirtieth June, one thousand nine hundred and five, as laid on the Table of the House, subject to the rate of amy reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of the year 1904-1905.

And the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same according! v. Services aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor, by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand, and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State.
