An Act to apply certain sums out of the Con­ solidated Revenue F u n d of New South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1901-1902. [26th November, 1901.1

WH E R E A S t he Member s of t h e Legis la t ive Assembly of New Sou th Wales
we Y o u r Majes ty ' s mos t dut i fu l and loyal subjects

in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, have resolved to g ran t to Y o u r Majesty t he sum of One million and n inety-seven thousand pounds , t h a t is to say—

D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t h e Sta te du r ing the m o n t h s of
November and December , or following m o n t h of t he financial
year end ing th i r t i e th J u n e , one thousand n ine h u n d r e d and
two. A n d

The s u m of Twenty-five thousand pounds for t he Services set for th

in t h e Schedule here to annexed :

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e

F u n d of N e w South Wales t he s u m so g ran ted to His Majes ty : Be i t therefore enacted by the K i n g ' s Most Exce l l en t Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of t he Legislat ive Counci l and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, and by the au tho r i t y of t he same, as follows :—

1.    Out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of New South W a l e s

there shall and m a y be issued and appl ied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H i s Majes ty for t h e said several Services, the s u m of One mil l ion and n inety-seven thousand pounds , of which the s u m of One million and seventy- two thousand pounds is to be expended a t t he rates which are shown on Es t ima tes for the financial year end ing th i r t i e th J u n e , one thousand nine h u n d r e d a n d two, as passed by the Legislat ive Assembly, and Twenty-five thousand pounds for t he Services specified in t he Schedule hereto annexed .

2. The Treasurer shal l issue and pay t h e said s u m for the Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such propor t ions as t h e Governor, by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t i ng unde r his hand , and directed to t h e said Treasurer , shall from t ime to t i m e order and direct . A n d t h e p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall be charged u p o n and

payable out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of t he S ta te .

3. The Treasure r shal l in his accounts from t ime to t ime be al lowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in p u r s u a n c e of such W a r r a n t s or Orders . A n d t h e receipts of t he respect ive persons to w h o m t h e same shall be so paid shall be full a n d valid discharges to

t h e said Treasure] ' in pass ing his said accounts for such sums as shall be the re in ment ioned, and he shall receive credi t for t h e same accordingly .
