An Act to apply certain sums out of t he Con­ solidated Revenue F u n d of Now South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1904-1905; and for Services to he hereafter provided for

the sum required to defray the expenses of the various
Departments
by Loan. [8th October, 1904.]

in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the WH E R E A S we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales

sum of Nine hundred and sixty-four thousand and ninety-eight pounds,
that is to say—

Departments and Services of the State during the month of October and following month of the financial year ending thirtieth dune, one thousand nine hundred and live. And

The sum of Three hundred and eighty-four thousand and ninety- eight pounds for the Services set forth in the Schedule hereto annexed:

And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted to His Majesty : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales

there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply so resolved to be granted to His Majesty for the said several Services, the sum of Nine hundred and sixty-four thousand and ninety- eight pounds, of which the sum of Live hundred and eighty thousand pounds is to be expended at the rates which arc shown in Estimates for the financial year ending thirtieth June, one thousand nine hundred and five, as laid on the Table of the House, subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in tin; expenditure of the year 1904-1905, and Three hundred and eighty-four thousand and ninety- eight pounds for the Services specified in the Schedule hereto annexed.
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sums for the Services aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor, by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand, and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State.
3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders. And the receipts of the respective persons to
whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to
the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as
shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same

accordingly.
