in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the WH E R E A S we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales
sum of One million six hundred and sixty-live thousand pounds, that
is to say—
The sum of One million six hundred and forty thousand pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months of September, October, and November, or following month of the financial year ending thirtieth June, one thousand nine
hundred and four. And The sum of Twenty-live thousand pounds for the Services set forth
in the Schedule hereto annexed :
And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted to His Majesty : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : —
1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales
there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply so resolved to be granted to His Majesty for the said several Services, the sum of One million six hundred and sixty-five thousand pounds, of which the sum of One million six hundred and forty thousand pounds is to be expended at the rates which are shown on Estimates for the financial year ending thirtieth June, one thousand nine hundred and four, as laid on the Table of the House, subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of the year 1903-1901, and Twenty-five thousand pounds for the Services specified in the Schedule hereto annexed.

| 3 . Tim Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be |

The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for the Services aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor, by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand, and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall he charged upon and
allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders. And the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall he so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
