An Act to apply certain sums out of t he Con­ solidated Revenue F u n d of New South Wales towards the Services of t he Year 1901-1902.

WHEREAS we t he M e m b e r s of t h e Legis la t ive Assembly of New South "Wales
Y o u r Majes ty ' s most dut i fu l a n d loyal subjects
in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, have resolved to g ran t to Your Majes ty t he
wi th
s u m of One mil l ion one h u n d r e d thousand pounds , t h a t is to say—
The s u m of One mil l ion a n d seventy-five t housand pounds , be ing

the s u m requi red to defray t h e expenses of t he various D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t h e Sta te du r ing t h e m o n t h s

Sep tember and October, or following m o n t h of t h e financial
year end ing th i r t i e th J u n e , one thousand n ine h u n d r e d and
two. A n d

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e E u n d of N e w Sou th Wales t he s u m so g ran ted to H i s Majes ty : P c

i t therefore enacted b y the K ing ' s Mos t Exce l l en t Majes ty , by and

with the advice and consent of t he Legis la t ive Counci l and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, and by the au thor i ty of t h e same, as follows :—

1. Ou t of the Consolidated l i e venue F u n d of New South Wales

the re shall and m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good the supply so resolved to be g ran ted to H i s Majesty for the said several Services, t h e s u m of One mil l ion one h u n d r e d thousand pounds , of which the s u m of One mil l ion and seventy-five t housand pounds is to be expended a t t he rates which are shown on Es t ima tes for t he financial year end ing th i r t i e th J u n e , one t housand n ine hund red and two, as laid on the Table of t h e H o u s e , subject to t h e r a t e of any reduct ion t h a t m a y hereafter be made in t he expendi tu re of the year 1901-1902 , and Twenty-five thousand pounds for t he Services specified in t h e Schedule here to annexed .

2 . The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said s u m for the

Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such propor t ions as t h e

Governor, by W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing u n d e r his hand , and directed to t h e said Treasurer , shal l from t ime to t ime order and direct. A n d t h e p a y m e n t s so to bo m a d e shal l be charged upon and

payable ou t of the Consolidated R e v e n u e E u n d of t he S ta te .

3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime be allowed credi t for all sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders . A n d the receipts of the respect ive persons to w h o m the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to t he said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be the re in ment ioned, and he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
