An Act to apply certain sums out of the Con
solidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales
towards the Services of the Year 1902-1903 ;
and for Services to be hereafter provided for
by Loan. [8th August, 1902.]
WHEREAS we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the sum of Two million two hundred and twenty-six thousand four hundred pounds, that is to say—
The sum of One million and eighty-four thousand pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the State during the months
of July and August, or following month of the financial year
ending thirtieth June, one thousand nine hundred and three.
And ' The
The sum of One million one hundred and forty-two thousand four
hundred pounds for the Services set forth in the Schedule
hereto annexed:
And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted to His Majesty : lie it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales
there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply so resolved to be granted to His Majesty for the said several Services, the sum of Two million two hundred and twenty-six thousand four hundred pounds, of which the sum of One million and eighty-four thousand pounds is to be expended at the rates Avhich were sanctioned for the financial year ended thirtieth June, one thousand nine hundred and two, subject to the rate of any reduction that may hereafter be made in the expenditure of the year 1902-1903, and One million one hundred and forty-two thousand four hundred pounds
for the Services specified in the Schedule hereto annexed.
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for the
Services aforesaid in such manner and in such proportions as the
Governor, by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand, and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct. And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State.
3 . The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be
allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders. And the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as
