An Act to apply cer ta in Sums out of the

Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w South
W a l e s towards t h e Services of t he Year
1895-6. [1st July, 1895.]

WH E R E A S we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects in Parliament assembled, have resolved to grant to Your Majesty the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales

the sum of One million seven hundred and forty thousand two hundred
and twenty-five pounds, that is to say—

The sum of One million six hundred and ninety thousand two hundred and twenty-five pounds, being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Service

of the Colony for the months of July, August, and September, or following month of the financial year one thousand eight

hundred and ninety-five-six. And

The sum of Fifty thousand pounds for the Service set forth in the

Schedule hereto annexed :  And

And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted to Her Majesty : Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply so resolved to be granted to Her Majesty for the said several Services, the sum of One million seven hundred and forty thousand two hundred and twenty-five pounds, of which the sum of One million six hundred and ninety thousand two hundred and twenty- five pounds is to be expended at the rates which have been sanctioned for the period from first January to thirtieth June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, subject to the rate of any reduction made in the Estimates laid on the Table of the Assembly on ninth of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, or any further reduction hereafter to be made in the expenditure of the financial year one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five-six, and Fifty thousand pounds for the Service specified in the Schedule hereto annexed.

To enable the Treasurer to make Advances to Public Officers, and on account of other Governments, and to pay expenses of an unforeseen nature, which will afterwards be submitted for Parliamentary appropriation—the whole amount to be adjusted
