An Act to apply certain Sums out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of N e w South Wales towards the Services of the Year 1887 and for Services to be hereafter pro­ vided for by Loan. [31st March, 1887.]

we Y o u r Majes ty ' s most dut i fu l a n d loyal subjec ts
in Pa r l i amen t assembled have resolved to g ran t to Y o u r Majes ty t h e
s u m of N ine h u n d r e d and twenty-five thousand pounds t h a t is to
say—

The s u m of Five h u n d r e d and seventy-five thousand pounds be ing t h e s u m required to defray t he expenses of t h e var ious D e p a r t m e n t s and Services of t he Colony for t h e m o n t h of M a r c h or following m o n t h of the year one thousand e ight

hundred and e ighty-seven A n d
The s u m of Three h u n d r e d a n d fifty t housand pounds for t h e

Services set forth in t he Schedule hereto annexed

A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good ou t of t h e Consolidated Revenue
F u n d of N e w South Wales t h e s u m so g ran ted to H e r Majes ty Be
i t therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Mos t Exce l l en t Majesty b y and
wi th t h e advice a n d consent of the Legis la t ive Counci l and Legis la t ive
Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and b y t h e

au thor i ty of t he same as follows :—

1. Out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w South Wales

the re shal l and m a y he issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g good t h e supply so resolved to he gran ted to H e r Majes ty for the said several Services t h e s u m of N i n e hund red and twenty-five thousand pounds of which t h e s u m of Five hund red and seventy-five t housand pounds is to be expended a t t h e rates which have been sanct ioned for t he year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and eighty-six subject to t he r a t e of any

reduc t ion t h a t m a y hereafter be made in t he expend i tu re of the year

one thousand eight h u n d r e d and eighty-seven and Three h u n d r e d and fifty thousand pounds for t he Services specified in t h e Schedule here to annexed.

3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from t ime to t ime he allowed credit for all sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such W a r r a n t s or Orders A n d the receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m t h e same shal l be so paid shal l be full and val id discharges to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing his said accounts for such sums as shall be the re in men t ioned a n d he shall receive credit for t h e same accordingly. SCHEDULE.

2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said s u m for t h e Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r and in such proport ions as t he Governor b y W a r r a n t s or Orders in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to t h e said Treasurer shal l from t ime to t ime order a n d direct A n d t h e paymen t s so to be m a d e shall be charged upon and payable

out of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of t he Colony.

CONSOLIDATED REVENUE FUND.

TREASURER'S ADVANCE ACCOUNT 1887—

To enable the Treasurer to make advances to Public Officers and on account of other Governments and to pay expenses of an unforeseen nature which will afterwards be submitted for Parliamentary appropriation—the whole amount to be adjusted not later than 31st December 1888—further sum
