| WHEREAS we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales | in Parliament assembled have resolved to grant to Your Majesty on |
| account for the service of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four the sum hereinafter mentioned being the sum required to defray the expenses of the various Departments and Services of the Colony from first January to thirty-first March one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four at the rates which have been sanctioned for the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the sum so granted to Your Majesty Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of | |

1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales there shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the Supplies so resolved to be granted to Her Majesty for the service of the first three months of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four commencing on the first day of January and ending on the thirty-first day of March in the said year the sum of three hundred and fifty thousand pounds.
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum for the service aforesaid to such persons upon such days and in such pro portions as the Governor by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer shall from time to time order and direct And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Colony.
3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such Warrants or Orders And the receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing his said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
