WH E R E A S we Y o u r Majesty 's mos t dutiful and loyal Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled have resolved to g r a n t to your Majesty

t he M e m b e r s of t h e Legislat ive Assembly of New South

for t h e service of t h e year one t housand eight h u n d r e d and sixty t he

sum first hereinafter ment ioned being the a m o u n t of t h e Supplementary Es t ima te for t h a t year and also on account for t h e year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and sixty-one the sum secondly hereinafter ment ioned

be ing t h e s u m requ i red to defray t he expenses of t h e var ious Depar t ­

m e n t s and Services of t he Colony from first J a n u a r y to thirty-first

M a r c h one t housand e ight h u n d r e d and sixty-one a t t he rates which

have been sanct ioned for t h e year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and

sixty A n d whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated

Revenue F u n d of N e w South W a l e s t he two several sums so g r a n t e d

to Y o u r Majesty Be i t therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Mos t

Excel lent Majesty by a n d wi th t he advice and consent of t h e Legisla­

t ive Counci l and Legis la t ive Assembly of New Sou th W a l e s in

Pa r l i amen t assembled and by t h e au thor i ty of t he same as fo l lows:—

1. Ou t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of N e w South W a l e s

t h e r e shal l a n d m a y be issued and applied for or towards m a k i n g	good
the Supplies so resolved to be g r an t ed to H e r Majesty for t h e	service

of t h e year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and sixty t he s u m of fifty-six.

eight-pence a n d for t he service of t h e first th ree m o n t h s of t h e year

one thousand eight h u n d r e d and sixty-one commencing on t h e first

day of J a n u a r y and end ing on the thir ty-f irs t day of M a r c h in t he

said year t h e sum of two h u n d r e d a n d fifty-three	t housand and eighty-
seven	pounds . 2. The Treasurer shal l issue a n d pay t h e said several sums for

t he respective services aforesaid to such persons u p o n such days a n d in such propor t ions as t h e Governor by w a r r a n t s or orders in wr i t i ng under his h a n d and directed to t he said Treasurer shall from t i m e to t ime order and direct A n d the p a y m e n t s so to be made shall be

charged u p o n a n d payable ou t of t h e Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d of

t he Colony.

3. T h e Treasurer shall i n h i s accounts from t i m e to t i m e be

al lowed credit for all sums of money pa id by h i m in pur suance of such war r an t s or orders A n d t h e receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m t h e same shal l be so pa id shall be full and valid discharges to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing his said accounts for such sums as shall be t he re in men t ioned a n d he shal l receive credit for t h e same accord­ ingly.
