An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the financial year ending 30 June 2002 for the purpose of making contributions to accounts in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled the Social Infrastructure Fund and the Major Projects Fund

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2001-2002) Act 2002 . 2CommencementThis Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2001. 3Issue and appropriation of $60,000,000 (1)  In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2002, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $60,000,000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2)  The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4Purposes of appropriations (1)  The sum of $30,000,000 is to be applied to Division 2, Finance-General for the purpose of making a contribution to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled Social Infrastructure Fund of which – (a) $15,800,000 represents a Recurrent Services appropriation; and (b) $14,200,000 represents a Works and Services appropriation. (2)  The sum of $30,000,000 is to be applied to Division 2, Finance-General and represents a Works and Services appropriation for the purpose of making a contribution to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled Major Projects Fund.
