An Act for the appropriation of money out of the Consolidated Fund for the financial year ending 30 June 2001 for the purpose of making a contribution to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled Economic Infrastructure Fund

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for 2000-2001) Act 2001 . 2CommencementThis Act is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2000. 3Issue and appropriation of $40,000,000 (1)  In respect of the financial year ending on 30 June 2001, the Treasurer may issue the sum of $40,000,000 out of the Consolidated Fund. (2)  The sum specified in subsection (1) is appropriated. 4Purpose of appropriation (1)  The sum of $40,000,000 is to be applied to Division 2, Finance-General and represents a Works and Services appropriation. (2)  The purpose of the appropriation is to make a contribution of $40,000,000 to an account in the Special Deposits and Trust Fund titled Economic Infrastructure Fund.
