Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement

Notice) (Fisheries) Regulations 1999

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are—

(a)

to prescribe a further offence against a relevant law for which an infringement notice may be served; and

(b)

to prescribe the penalty for the prescribed offence.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 91 and
99 of the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act

1987.

3. Amendment to Schedule of Offences

After item 4288 of the Schedule to the
Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement
Notice) Regulations 19921 insert—

Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice)
(Fisheries) Regulations 1999

r. 3 S.R. No. 125/1999
"4289 An offence under $100 take or attempt to
section 44(c) of take fish other than
the Fisheries Act rock lobster from
1995 marine waters
without authority.".
