Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement

Notice) (Amendment) Regulations 1998

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe—

(a)

further offences against a relevant law for which an infringement notice may be served; and

(b) the penalties for prescribed offences.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 91 and
99 of the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act

1987.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

21 March 1998.

4. Amendments to Schedule of Offences

Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice)
(Amendment) Regulations 1998

In the Schedule to the Conservation, Forests and Lands (Infringement Notice) Regulations 19921 after item 4280 insert—

"4281 An offence under $100 during the open
section 58C of the season for duck,
Wildlife Act 1975 enter on or remain in
a specified hunting
area at any time
during which entry
onto or remaining in
that area is
prohibited as
specified in the
Wildlife (Game)
Regulations 1990
4282 An offence under $100 approach to within
section 58D of the 10 metres or less
Wildlife Act 1975 from a person who
is carrying a firearm
or hunting or taking
game birds in a
specified hunting
area during the open
season for duck".
