Amendment Act 2002

An Act to amend the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984.

[Assented to 11 December 2002]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.             Short title

This Act may be cited as the Conservation and Land

Management Amendment Act 2002.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

3.             The Act amended

The amendments in this Act are to the Conservation and Land

Management Act 1984*.

4.             Section 53 amended

Section 53 is amended as follows:

(a)	by deleting the subsection designation “(1)”;
(b)	by repealing subsection (2);
(c)	by repealing subsection (3).

5.             Section 54 amended

(1)

Section 54(3)(a)(ii) is amended by deleting “acting jointly” and

inserting instead —

“ in consultation ”.

(2)

Section 54(3)(a)(iii) is amended by deleting “acting jointly” and

inserting instead —

“ in consultation ”.

6.             Section 60 amended

(1)

Section 60(2) is amended by deleting “, (2b), (2c) and (2d),”

and inserting instead —

“ and (2b), ”.

(2)

Section 60(2c) is repealed.

(3)

Section 60(2d) is repealed.
