Connor v Commissioner Of Police

Case

[2025] HCADisp 19

CONNOR

v

COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

[2025] HCADISP 19
B76/2024

  1. The applicant requires an extension of time within which to seek special leave to appeal from a judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Queensland (Mullins P, Boddice JA and Crow J), which refused an application for leave to appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Queensland (Devereaux SC CJDC).

  2. The application for special leave to appeal does not raise a question of law of public importance and any appeal would have little prospects of success. It is not in the interests of the administration of justice, either generally or in this case, for special leave to appeal to be granted. It would therefore be futile to grant the extension of time that is sought.

  3. Special leave to appeal is refused.
