1. The applicants seek special leave to appeal from part of a judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria (McLeish, Macaulay and Lyons JJA) allowing an appeal in part from the Supreme Court of Victoria (Robson J). The applicant also seeks an order that the page limit requirement in r 41.01.3 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth) be dispensed with.

2. Compliance with the page limit in r 41.01.3 is dispensed with. However, the application does not raise a question of law of public importance, whether because of its general application or otherwise.

3. Special leave to appeal is refused with costs.
