CONCILIATION AND ARBITRATION.

No. 1 of 1951.

An Act relating to the Tenure of Office of the Chief Conciliation Commissioner.

[Assented to 17th March, 1951.]

BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1951.

Commencement.

2.This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

 

Tenure of Chief Conciliation Commissioner.

3.If, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is desirable in the public interest that the Chief Conciliation Commissioner holding office under the Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1904
