No. 761. An Act to abolish Compulsory Vaccination.

1, (1) No parent or other ycrson shall bc liable to any penaltyExemption from
under section 21 of | " The Vaccination Act, | within six |
months from the birth of the child he makes a declaration before a Justice of the Peace, in the form of the Schedule hereto, that he conscientiously believes that vaccination would be prejudicial to the health of the child, and within seven days thereafter delivers to the vaccination officer such declaration.
(2) This section shall come into operation on the passing of this Act, but in its application to a child born before the passing of this Act there shall be substituted fbr t l ~ period of six months horn the birth of the child the period of six months from the passing of this Act.
