I, ROMAN QUAEDVLIEG, Comptroller‑General of Customs, under section 4A of the Customs Act 1901 (the Customs Act), approve the attached “EXPORT DECLARATION or APPLICATION UNDER SECTION 162A(6A) OF THE CUSTOMS ACT” statement as an approved statement for the purposes of communicating to the Department in accordance with subsections 114(4) and 162AA(4) of that Act:
(a)an electronic export declaration; or
(b)a computer application under subsection 162A(6A) of the Customs Act to take goods aboard a ship or aircraft for export where those goods were delivered as a result of an application described in subsection 162A(2A).
This Instrument commences on 1 October 2015.

| 11 | Consignee Name | If the goods are not stores or spares - the name of the person or organisation that intends to take final physical possession of the goods. This must be the principal, not a bank, freight forwarder, etc., acting on behalf of the principal. |
| 12 | Consignee City | The city or town in which the person or organisation intending to take final physical possession of the goods is located. |
| 13 | Port of Loading | The UN/LOCODE, as published by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE), of the port where the goods will be loaded onto a ship or aircraft for export. |
| 14 | Final Destination Country Code | If the goods are not stores or spares ‑ the ISO 3166‑1 alpha‑2 code, as published in ISO 3166‑1:1997 Codes for the representation of names of countries and their subdivisions – Part 1: Country codes, by the International Organization for Standardization as in force with this instrument commences, of the final country of destination of the goods. |
| 15 | Intended Date of Export | The intended date of export of the goods. |
| 16 | First Port of Discharge | If the goods are not stores or spares ‑ the UN/LOCODE of the first foreign port at which the goods will be discharged from the ship or aircraft that transported them from Australia. This may not be the final destination of the goods. |
| 17 | Mode of Transport | If the goods are not being consigned by post ‑ the code indicating the mode of transport of the goods: § Air ‘A’ § Sea ‘S’ |
| 18 | Export Goods Type | The code indicating the type of goods that are being exported: § Other ‘OT’ § Stores ‘ST’ § Spares ‘SP’ § Own Power ‘OP’ § Accompanied Baggage ‘AB’ § Postal ‘PO’ |
| 19 | Vessel Identifier | If the goods are stores, spares or accompanied baggage and are being consigned by ship ‑ the identifier of the ship carrying the goods: § the Lloyds identification number of the vessel; or § if the vessel does not have a Lloyds identification number, the identification code allocated to the operator of the ship by the Department. |
| 20 | Voyage Number | If the goods are stores, spares or accompanied baggage and are being consigned by ship - the voyage number of the ship carrying the goods. |
| 21 | Flight Number | If the goods are stores, spares or accompanied baggage and are being consigned by aircraft - the reference assigned by a carrier to identify a specific journey of the aircraft. |
| 22 | Airline Code | If the goods are stores, spares or accompanied baggage and are being consigned by aircraft ‑ the International Air Transport Association (IATA) code identifying the airline that is providing the flight upon which the goods are to be exported. |
| 23 | Warehouse Establishment Identifier | If the goods are like customable goods (as defined in section 69 of the Customs Act) or excisable goods ‑ the code used to identify the warehouse or excise premises from which the goods are to be removed prior to export. |
| 24 | Cargo Type | The code indicating the cargo type: § Containerised § Non-Containerised § Combination § Bulk |
| 25 | Total Number of Packages | If the goods are combination goods, or non‑containerised goods that are not being exported by their own power, and the goods are: § packed into packages ‑ the number of outside packages. § not packed into packages ‑ the number of items of cargo. |
| 26 | Total Number of Containers | If the goods are being consigned by ship and the goods are containerised or combination - the total number of containers. |
| 27 | Invoice Currency Code | The code indicating the monetary unit in which the invoice for the goods is made out. |
| 28 | FOB Currency Code | The code indicating the monetary unit relevant to the Total FOB Value. |
| 29 | Total FOB Value | The FOB value of all the goods covered by the declaration: § as defined in the Australian Harmonized Export Commodity Classification (AHECC) published by Australian Bureau of Statistics as in force when this instrument commences; and § in the currency unit indicated in the FOB Currency Code. |
