I, ROMAN QUAEDVLIEG, Comptroller‑General of Customs, under section 4A of the Customs Act 1901, approve the attached “S71E MOVEMENT APPLICATION” statement as an approved statement for the purposes of communicating electronically to the Department, an application for permission to move goods that are subject to customs control and have been entered for home consumption or warehousing in accordance with section 71L of that Act.
This Instrument commences on 1 October 2015.

S71E MOVEMENT APPLICATION
Approved Statement ‑ Customs Act 1901 subsection 71L(1)

| 1 | Import Declaration Identifier | The identifying number given by the Department to the declaration that relates to the goods subject of the movement application. |
| 2 | Goods Description | A description of the goods sufficient for the Department to ascertain the correct classification of the goods. |
| 3 | Marks and Numbers | Describe the package marks and numbers for all packages and any other identifying marks and brands on the packages. |
| 4 | Reason For Application | Indicate why the goods are proposed to be moved. |
| 5 | Applicant Name | Name of the person applying for permission to move the goods. |
| 6 | Broker Indicator | Indicate whether a nominated customs broker is making the movement application. |
| 7 | Nominee Broker Licence Number | If the declaration is being made by a customs broker – the licence number of the broker. |
| 8 | Branch Identifier | The six character alphanumeric identifier allocated by the Department that further identifies a branch within the company or body making the declaration. |
| 9 | Number of Packages | Number of packages that the goods are packed in (not including packages in a container). |
| 10 | Originating Establishment Identifier | The unique identifier assigned to the place where the goods are proposed to be moved from. |
| 11 | Originating Establishment Name | The business name from where the goods are proposed to be moved from. |
| 12 | Movement Destination Location Name | The business name of the place where the goods are proposed to be moved to. |
| 13 | Movement Destination Location Address | The address of the place where the goods are proposed to be moved to. |
| 14 | Movement Destination Contact Phone | The phone number of the person to be contacted in relation to this movement application. |
| If goods are imported by SEA items 15 to 19 are required. | ||
| 15 | Line Number | The number that identifies each separate line of goods subject of the movement application. |
| 16 | Container Number | If the goods are being imported in a container – the unique identifier assigned by the marine industry to the container. |
| 17 | Seal Number | If the goods are packed in a container - the unique identifying number of the industry seal placed on the container door at the time of packing. |
| 18 | Hazardous Goods Indicator | If the goods are being imported into Australia –indicate whether the goods are defined within both Australian and International standards as being hazardous. |
| 19 | Fumigation Indicator | If the goods are being imported in a container – indicate whether the consignment has been fumigated prior to being imported into Australia. |
