An Act to amend the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, and for related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1Short title

This Act is the Competition and Consumer Amendment (Australian Consumer Law—Country of Origin Representations) Act 2020.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

At the end of subsection 255(2) of Schedule 2

Add:

1. ; or (c)

   the goods underwent in that country one or more processes prescribed by the regulations.
