COMPENSATION COURT ACT 1984—RULE
NEW SOUTH WALES
[Published in Gazette No. 113 of 15 September 1995]
1. This rule is made by the Rule Committee on 1st September 1995.
2. The Compensation Court Rules 1990 are amended as follows:
| (a) | Part 2 rule 3 Omit subrule (l), insert instead: |
(1) There shall be a fixed vacation and a variable vacation in
each year.
(1A) The fixed vacation shall be a period of 6 weeks from the
beginning of the Monday before the 24th of December.(1B) The variable vacation shall be a period of 4 weeks
regulated by the Chief Judge.
| (b) | Part 8 rule 10 Omit the rule. |
| (c) | Part 20 rule 8 After subrule (4), insert: |
(5) The Court shalI not make an order under this rule unless it is satisfied that sufficient relief is not available under section 169 of the Evidence Act 1995.
| (d) | Part 20 rule 9 Omit the rule. |

| (e) | Part 23 rules 8, 8A, 8B After Part 23 rule 8, insert: |
| 8A. (1) Notice for the purposes of section 67 or 99 of the Evidence Act 1995 shall, unless the Court otherwise orders, be given 28 days before the party seeks to adduce the evidence. | |
| (f) | Part 24 rule 4 Omit the rule. |
