COMPENSATION COURT ACT 1984—RULE
NEW SOUTH WALES

1. This rule was made by the Rule Committee on 18th March 1992.
2. The Compensation Court Rules 1990 are amended as follows: (a) Part 5 rule 4 (f), omit “1906,;”, insert instead “1906;”. (b) Part 9 rule 6, omit “court”, insert instead “Court”.
(c) Part 10 rule 3, re-number subrule (3) as subrule (2). (d) Part 15 rule 6, omit “make”, insert instead “made”. (e) Part 16 rule 10 (2), omit “court”, insert instead “Court”.
( f ) Part 22 rule 3,
(i) after subrule (1), insert the following subrule:
(1A) Where proceedings which have not been heard, part heard or discontinued, and in which a request for listing has been filed, have not been before the Court during any period of 9 months, the proceedings are, unless the Court otherwise orders, deemed to have been struck out.
(ii) in subrule (2), after the matter “(1)” insert the matter “or (1A)”.
(g) Part 23 rule 9 (1), omit “court”, insert instead “Court”. (h) Part 25 rule 5 (1), omit “court”, insert instead “Court”. (i) Part 27 rule 7 (2), omit “court”, insert instead “Court”.
(j)
Part 29 rule 5 (2) (a), omit “court”, insert instead “Court”.

rule:

Except where a Judge otherwise orders or the rule otherwise provide, a registrar may, with respect to any proceedings, exercise the functions of the Court to:
(a)
make any order as to procedure or practice which does not have the effect of determining the incidence or quantum of the liability of any party in respect of the subject matter of the proceedings; and
(b) make any order consented to by:
(i) the parties to the application for the order; and
(ii) any other person who will be required to comply with the order or to suffer anything to be done under the order,
whether or not the order has the effect of
determining any liability.
(l) Part 32 rule 6, omit “court”, insert instead “Court”.
