Companies Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and in accordance with subsection 577 (2) of the Companies Act 1981,hereby make the following Regulations under the Companies Act 1981.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 November 1989.

Definition of “authorised trustee corporation”

2. Regulation 14 of the Companies Regulations is amended:

(a) by inserting after paragraph (e) the following paragraph:

“(ea) Eagle Star Trustees Limited;”;

(b) by omitting paragraph (j);

(c) by inserting after paragraph (i) the following paragraph:

“(iaa) National Mutual Trustees Limited;”;

(d) by inserting after paragraph (ra) the following paragraph:

“(rb) Perpetual Trustees Queensland Limited;”;

(e) by omitting paragraph (y) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(y) R & I Trustees Limited;”,

Prescribed universities

3. Regulation 21 of the Companies Regulations is amended by inserting after paragraph (f) the following paragraph:

“(fa) Queensland University of Technology;”.

4. Regulation 22 of the Companies Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (v).
