Companies Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, being advice that, as required by subsection 577 (2) of the Companies Act 1981 is consistent with resolutions of the Ministerial Council for Companies and Securities, and under section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901,hereby make the following Regulations under the Companies Act 1981.

Stock exchanges declared for certain purposes

1. Regulation 15 of the Companies Regulations is amended by omitting from subsection (2) “sub-section 131(5b)” and substituting “subsection 131(5b), section 133bb,”.

Schedule 3

2. Schedule 3to the Companies Regulations is amended:

(a) by inserting after paragraph (a) in item 1 the following paragraph:

“(ab) subsection 133vf (1);”;

(b) by inserting after paragraph (a) in item 3 the following paragraph:

“(ab) subsection 133vf (2);”.
