AN ACT to amend the Companies (Co-operative)

Act 1943-1979.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Companies

and citation.

(Co-operative) Amendment Act 1982.

2. This Act shall come into operation on a day to

be fixed by proclamation.

Section 28

amended 3. Section 28 of the principal Act is amended in

subsection (8) by deleting "a fee of five guineas"

and substituting the following-

" the prescribed fee " .

Section 409

amended.

4. Section 409 of the principal Act is amended by repealing subsections (2) and (3) and substituting the following subsections

(2) The Governor may by regulation alter or add to any of the forms contained in the Schedules (other than the Second Schedule) to this Act.

(3) The Governor may make regulations varying the Tenth Schedule or repealing the Tenth Schedule and substituting a new Tenth Schedule in place thereof.

(4) A regulation made under subsection (2) or subsection (3) of this section shall have effect as if it were included in this Act. " .
