COMPANIES AUDITORS BOARD R E G U L A T I O N S .
REGULATIONS 1962. No. l l . f
Short title.
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Companies Auditors Board Regulations.
Repeal.
2. The Companies Auditors Board (Fees) Regulations (being Regulations 1962, No. 5) are repealed.
Definitions. 3. " Chairman " means Chairman of the Board;
In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears— " the Ordinance " means the Companies Ordinance 1962.

Fees and
4,—(1.) For
the purposes of sub-section (11.) of section 8 of the fee of Six pounds six shillings is payable to the Chairman or to the deputy of the Chairman for each day or part of a day on which the Chairman or the deputy of the Chairman, as the case may be, attended a meeting of the Board before the commencement of these Regulations or attends a meeting of the Board after that commencement; and
allowances payable to
members of Ordinance— the Board. (a) (b) a fee of Five pounds five shillings is payable to a member or a deputy of a member for each day or part of a day on which the member or the deputy of the member, as the case may be, attended a meeting of the Board before the commencement of these Regulations or attends a meeting of the Board after that commencement. * Made under the Companies Ordinance 1962 on 29th June, 1962; notified in the Commonwealth Gazette and commenced on 5th July, 1962.

(2.) Where—
(a) the Chairman, a member or a deputy of the Chairman or of a member is, in order to attend a meeting of the Board, neces- sarily absent overnight from his place of residence; or
(b) the Chairman or a member is, in order to perform any act within the functions of the Board that he has been authorized by the Board to perform, necessarily absent overnight from his place of residence,
travelling allowance at the rate of Four pounds ten shillings per day is payable to him in respect of the time he is necessarily absent from his place of residence.
(3.) Where the Chairman, a member or a deputy of the Chairman or of a member attends a meeting of the Board held in a city or town other than that in which he resides, or the Chairman or a member performs, in a city or town other than that in which he resides, any act within the functions of the Board that he has been authorized by the Board to perform—
(a) he is entitled, for the purpose of attending the meeting or performing the act, to travel first-class by rail or air, at the cost of the Commonwealth, from the city or town where he resides to the city or town where the meeting is held or the act is performed and, on the completion of the meeting or of the performance of the act, from the city or town where the meeting was held or the act performed to the city or town where he resides; or
(6) he is entitled, if he does not so travel by rail or air, to be paid an allowance equal to the amount of the first-class rail or air fare, whichever is the less.
(4.) This regulation does not apply to a Chairman, a member or a deputy of a Chairman or member who is an officer of the Public Service of the Commonwealth or an officer of an authority of the Commonwealth.
5. For the purposes of sub-section (7.) and sub-section (8.) of section 9 Registration

person as a company auditor, or in respect of the registrationof a registered company auditor as a registered liquidator, is Two pounds; and (b) the prescribed fee payable in respect of the renewal of the registration of a registered company auditor or of a regis- tered liquidator is One pound.
