AN ACT to amend section three hundred and

eighty-two of the Companies Act, 1961-1975.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Companies

Act Amendment Act, 1979.

(2) In this Act the Companies Act, 1961-1975 is

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Companies Act, 1961-1979.

Section 382

amended.

2. Section 382 of the principal Act is amended

by adding a subsection as follows

(3) Notwithstanding section four of this Act and the First Schedule to this Act the provisions of section one hundred and seventy-two of the repealed Act shall apply to and in relation to all persons, companies and associations other than those mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (e) (both inclusive) of subsection (1) of that section. .
